Unconscious Bias Awareness Training
Unconscious Bias Awareness Training
Unconscious bias is a natural part of the human brain's functioning, as it allows us to make quick judgments and decisions without needing to analyze every piece of information. However, when left unchecked, these biases can have a negative impact on our relationships and interactions with others, especially in the workplace. An unconscious bias awareness skills workshop can help individuals understand the impact of their biases and learn how to mitigate them, creating a more inclusive and equitable environment. In this workshop, participants will learn about the different types of unconscious biases, the science behind them, and strategies for recognizing and addressing them in themselves and others.
Delivery Method
Unconscious Bias Awareness Skills Workshop is an instructor-led and practical training program that is delivered online. The workshop is designed to be highly interactive and engaging, with a special emphasis on assisting individuals in recognizing and overcoming their unconscious biases. The training session is structured to enable participants to explore their own biases and identify strategies to mitigate their impact on their professional and personal relationships.
The program will be delivered through a combination of live virtual sessions and self-paced learning modules. The live sessions will be conducted via a video conferencing platform, such as Zoom, and will allow for real-time interaction and discussion between participants and the instructor. The self-paced learning modules will be delivered through an online learning platform and will consist of pre-recorded video lectures, case studies, quizzes, and other learning materials.
