How to stay out of WRC (Disciplinary Policies)

How to stay out of WRC (Disciplinary Policies) Webinar

Date: New dates coming soon
Time: 10:00 to 11:30
Fees: €25
Description:

The Workplace Relations Act 2015 replaced the old structures which included the EAT (Employment Appeals Tribunal). The EAT’s report for 2013 records that the average compensation awarded for unfair dismissal claims was €16,686.65. In almost half of unfair dismissals cases, employers will choose an external law company to represent them at the tribunal increasing the potential costs of defending an unfair dismissal.

It is trite to say that if an employer has a good disciplinary policy and follows it, the chances of an employee initiating an unfair dismissal claim before the WRC are greatly reduced. So what is a good disciplinary policy? A good disciplinary policy is one that is written in clear English and is easily understood.
